Sliders are a great bar favorite, but sometime, it’s too early to be in a bar.

If you want sliders, but it’s too early to be in a bar, this could resolve that problem.

Step 1: Mix up the eggs, salt, and pepper, with a whisk, until it’s nice and frothy.

Step 2: Get a large skillet, and, over a medium low heat, melt the two tablespoons you’ve measured of butter.

Step 3: Pour your beaten eggs into the skillet, cooking them and stirring them until they’re set – that should take between three and six minutes, then remove it from the heat. You can put that aside for a little bit.

Step 4: Get the rolls, and cut them in half horizontally.

Step 5: Put the bottoms of the rolls in a layer at the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish, with the outsides on the bottom.

Step 6: Put a layer of provolone cheese on top of the rolls, then a layer of scrambled eggs, then a layer of the ham, then another layer of the provolone cheese, before placing the tops of the rolls on them

Step 7: Take a knife and cut through the ham, cheese, and egg layers, so you’ll have a dozen separate sandwiches. You can put them to one side for now.

Step 8: In a small saucepan, melt together 1/4 cup of butter, along with the brown sugar and mustard. Do that over a medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.

Step 9: Spread the mixture you’ve just created on top of the rolls.

Step 10: Cover the whole dish with aluminum foil, and just let it rest for 30 minutes or so.

Step 11: Now, you can start to preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Step 12: Take the aluminum foil of the baking dish and put it in the oven.

Step 13: After 15 or 20 minutes, the cheese should be melted, and the tops of the rolls should be a lovely golden brown color. That means your sliders are ready!

Let’s not pretend that this is a healthy breakfast. But if you’re thinking of sliders first thing in the morning, that’s probably not what you’re after!
