French Egg and Bacon Sandwich

The Perfect Combination of Savory and Sweet!


Bacon 4 slices
Maple Syrup 1/2 cup
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Eggs 2
Eggs 2, beaten
Salt and Pepper As desired for seasoning

5 minutes to prepare, 15 minutes to cook, ready in 20 minutes

This recipe for a savory and sweet comfort food is certainly a special indulgence, but one that is sure to be a hit with guests or the family. Makes an ideal brunch or lunch meal, and supplements can be added for bacon (i.e. vegetables, turkey bacon). Those who prefer strictly savory dishes may be inclined to opt of out the maple syrup addition.

Step 1: Use battered eggs to coat bread fully

Step 2:  Oil frying pan or griddle and heat over a medium setting

Step 3: Cook until both sides of bread are golden brown and even to make the toast

Step 4: Use large skillet to cook bacon over medium heat until desired crisp/until color is brown, drain

Step 5: Grease pan using bacon grease or your preferred oil and fry remaining eggs

Step 6: Place fried eggs and single strips of bacon on to cooked french toast

Step 7: Add desired maple syrup to top toast

Step 8: Add desired salt or pepper for seasoning
