Classic Apple Crisp

Serve Plain or A La Mode!


Brown sugar 1cup, packed
Butter 1/2 cup, melted
Quick-Cook Oats 1 cup
White sugar 1 cup
Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
Apples 10 cups, peeled and sliced
Baking Soda 1/4 teaspoon
Baking Powder 1/4 teaspoon
All-purpose flour 1 cup & 1 tablespoon
Water 1/2 cup

30 minutes to prepare, 45 minutes to cook, ready in 1 hour and 20 minutes

This delicious apple crisp recipe yields a timeless sweet and savory dessert that the whole family is sure to adore. You may wish to serve on its own warm, or add vanilla ice cream or whipped cream to top. You may also wish to add some additional brown sugar crumbles to top. Scrumptious!

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F

Step 2: Use medium, rectangular pan to add in sliced (peeled) all-purpose apples

Step 3: Put white sugar over apples to coat, adding in ground cinnamon and tablespoon of flour, making sure slices are coated evenly

Step 4: Mix and blend together oats, cup of flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and melted butter in a bowl, until evenly blended

Step 5: Add your mixture to the top of apple slices

Step 6: Bake for approximately 45 minutes, until even cook is achieved

You may wish to serve this American-classic dessert for a special occasion or holiday, or simply for a treat-night!
