Cream Cheese Dessert Bars

Equal Parts Savory and Sweet!


Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
Margarine 1/2 cup, melted
White sugar 1 1/4 cups
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Cream cheese 2 8oz packages
Crescent roll dough 2 8oz cans

15 minutes to prepare, 30 minutes to cook, ready in 45 minutes

These cream cheese dessert bars are wonderful for fans of creamy desserts that offer sweet and savory qualities. The bars can be saved and enjoyed for days, but are best served fresh and warm!

Step 1: Grease a rectangular pan using butter or oil

Step 2: Preheat standard oven to 350 degrees F

Step 3: Blend together the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla until fully mixed and even in texture in a bowl

Step 4: Use one can of crescent rolls to press to the bottom of pan, and add cheese mix to top

Step 5: Using the second can of rolls, press and layer over the prepared mixture

Step 6: Pour margarine or butter into pan and mix and blend remaining 1/4 cup of sugar and cinnamon;

Step 7: Place this mix over the top of the rolls

Step 8: Bake to achieve a golden-brown texture, for approximately 35 minutes, at 350 degrees F

This cheesy dessert bar is the perfect mix of sweet and savory.
