Tasty and Rich Bread that Tastes Like Fresh Bananas!


All-purpose flour 3 1/2 cups
Baking Soda 2 teaspoons
Vanilla Extract 1 tablespoon
Eggs 4
Bananas 5, very ripe or overripe
Shortening 1 cup
Salt 1 teaspoon
White Sugar 2 1/2 cups

20 minutes to prepare, 1 hour and ten minutes to cook, ready in 1 hour and 20 minutes

This recipe for rich and moist banana bread is a family-favorite and tastes of fresh bananas with a tasty buttery dye-down. Perfect for breakfasts, weekend meals, brunches, or even dessert options with some added jam and fruit.

Step 1: Preheat oven to 300 degrees F

Step 2:  Obtain 2 9 by 5 inch pans and grease thoroughly

Step 3: Mash bananas in a medium bowl and stir eggs into mix until two ingredients blend together

Step 4: In a different larger bowl, add sugar gradually and beat shortening.

Step 5: Whisk salt, baking soda, and flour and mix into the batter, add to both 2 pans

Step 6: Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes
