Linguine Pasta With Clam Sauce and Mushrooms

Linguine pasta 1 package or box, 16 oz
Butter 1/2 cup
Garlic 3 cloves, chopped
Mushrooms 1 pound, sliced
Chopped clams with juice 2 cans, 6.5 oz each
Uncooked Couscous 1 cup
Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup, grated
Ground white pepper 1/2 teaspoon
Fresh parsley 1/2 cup, chopped

20 minutes to prepare, 20 minutes to cook, ready in 40 minutes

Step 1: Lightly salt and boil a large pot of water, add linguine to pot when boil is reached and cook for approximately 8 minutes, to be served el dente-style

Step 2: Use skillet to melt the butter over heat (high or medium will work)

Step 3: Saute both mushrooms and garlic until desired golden brown color is achieved

Step 4: Stir in and cook clams with juice, parsley, salt and white pepper using medium heat settings

Step 5: Toss until an even coating is achieved

Step 6: Season with any salt, pepper, and top with grated fresh parmesan cheese

This linguine with clam sauce and mushrooms is perfect for the whole family and sure to have repeat requests for more after just one meal! You may want to top with shrimp if desired, or any other fresh vegetables.
