There are so many variations of recipes for meatloaf available, from what people’s grandma used to make, to the infinite number available online.
Here’s a really simple and easy one for you, so you can add whatever of your own twists that you’d like, once you’re comfortable with it.
Step 1: Start by getting your oven on to preheat, at 350 degrees.
Step 2: Combine the beef, egg, onion, milk, and bread crumbs. You’ll probably need a large mixing bowl for that. You should also season it with salt and pepper at this point.
Step 3: Get a baking dish – 9×13 inch will be fine – and lightly grease it.
Step 4: Shape your mixture into a loaf on your newly greased dish.
Step 5: Put the baking dish aside for a minute. Get a separate bowl, and pour in the brown sugar, mustard, and ketchup. Combine it really well.
Step 6: Pour your mixture from Step 5 over your meatloaf.
Step 7: Put the baking dish in you preheated oven for an hour.
You’ll be pushed to find a meatloaf recipe as easy as that. You can add additional seasoning in the form of any herbs you like, or maybe some garlic powder.
