Spicy, Creamy Shrimp

Serve Over Pasta, Equal Parts Creamy and Spicy!


Minced garlic 1 1/2 teaspoons
Shrimp 1 pound, peeled and deveined
Green onions 1/4 cup, chopped
White wine 1/4 cup, dry
Heavy cream 1/3 cup
Butter 1/4 cup
Fresh basil 2 tablespoons, chopped
Plum tomatoes 2, chopped
Salt To taste
Ground black pepper To taste
Cayenne pepper 1 pinch

20 minutes to prepare, 20 minutes to cook, ready in 40 minutes

This shrimp dish is equal parts buttery, creamy, and spicy. Serve over linguine or angel hair pasta if desired, or add to fresh or steamed vegetable dish! Delicious!

Step 1: Melt butter using skillet and medium heat settings

Step 2: Add and stir in peeled shrimp, garlic and green onions to butter

Step 3: Cook for approximately 5 minutes, until shrimp meat is pink on outside

Step 4: Let shrimp cool a bit and set aside

Step 5: Mix and pour in dry white wine, cream, basil, plum tomatoes, and cayenne pepper

Step 6: bring mix to a simmer for approximately 10 minutes

Step 7: Stir in shrimp to sauce

Step 8: Season with salt and pepper, heat through

This fresh shrimp dish packs a hint of spice without being overwhelming, and employs dry white wine and cream for a rich finish.
