Sweet Restaurant-Style Slaw

A Perfect Side that Adds Flair to any Meal or Sandwich!


Coleslaw Mix 1 16 oz bag
Onions 2 tablespoons, diced
Creamy salad dressing 2/3 cup
Vegetable oil 3 tablespoons
White vinegar 1/2 cup
White sugar 1/2 cup
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Poppy seeds 1/2 teaspoon

15 minutes to prepare, ready in 2 hours and 15 minutes

The perfect side dish and sandwich addition can easily compliment any meal, if not make the meal. This slaw recipe is perfect for picnics and makes a great supplement to any sandwich. It is so delicious many enjoy it on its own!

Step 1: Combine onion and slaw mix in a large mixing bowl

Step 2:  Mix salad dressing, vegetable oil, sugar, vinegar, salt, and poppy seeds in a medium bowl, whisking gently and making sure to blend evenly

Step 3: Pour mixture over slaw and onion

Step 4: Chill for at least 2 hours before serve time

This restaurant-style slaw recipe reminds of us a classic diner or seafood restaurant that has that perfect coleslaw mix as an addition to every food. You can use this with burgers, sandwiches, BBQ food or on its own. This particular recipe combines savory and sweet, with a hind of sugar to balance out the vinegar.
