A Restaurant Favorite Served Warm at Home!

Ingredients

Penne pasta 1 12oz package
Tomato sauce 1/2 cup
Red pepper flakes 1 teaspoon, crushed
Olive oil 1/2 cup, divided
Fresh basil 1 bunch, chopped
Garlic 6 cloves, sliced
Eggs 2
Tomatoes 1 28oz can, diced with garlic and oil
Bread crumbs 2 cups
Salt 1 teaspoon
Pepper 1 teaspoon
Garlic powder 1 teaspoon
Chicken breast cutlets 1 pound, thin

20 minutes to prepare, 25 minutes to cook, ready in 45 minutes

Step 1: Boil water and cook penne pasta for approximately 8 minutes, to be served al dente

Step 2: Heat oil using medium settings, add garlic and saute

Step 3: Add in red pepper flakes and saute

Step 4: Add in tomato sauce and tomatoes, after dicing, and basil

Step 5: Simmer for approximately 20 minutes

Step 6: Add Whisk eggs in separate bowl

Step 7: Add bread crumbs to separate bowl, then add garlic powder, salt, and pepper to bread crumb mix

Step 8: Dip chicken cutlets into egg mix

Step 9: Add bread crumbs to top cutlets (after adding the egg)

Step 10: Heat olive oil using medium settings

Step 11: Fry chicken for approximately 10 minutes until dark brown

Step 12: Cut chicken into slices

Step 13: Add chicken slices to sauce, simmer for 10 minutes

Step 14: Add cooked penne pasta and simmer to complete dish
