This gourmet version of a favorite lunch combines cream cheese with mayo and shredded cheese to top French bread. A fancy version of a diner classic! Add in tomato or veggies as desired for flavor.
Step 1: Mix and beat together garlic salt, mayo, cream cheese, and shredded cheese
Step 2: Preheat skillet using medium settings for heat
Step 3: Top cheese mixture to half of the french bread slices (4)
Step 4: Top other bread slices to closed sandwiches
Step 5: Butter both sides of bread, grill till brown for about 4 minutes on each side
