Sweet Corn on the Cob

A Labor Day Picnic or Party Hit

Ingredients

Milk 1 cup
Water As needed
White Sugar 1/3 cup
Butter 1/4 cup
Heavy whipping cream 1/4 cup
Corn on the cob 8 ears, husks and silks removed

15 minutes to prepare, 10 minutes to cook, ready in 25 minutes

This classic American favorite side dish is the perfect addition to any burger, barbecue meal, or cookout. Add to the side of a salad for an even healthier option. This makes a perfect hosting side, and will also be a hit if brought to a party or potluck. A creamy, savory spin on a favorite. Serve warm and enjoy!

Step 1: Boil water and add in milk, sugar, cream, and butter

Step 2: Add in salt if desired

Step 3: Leave in until butter melts

Step 4: Add in corn, reducing heat settings slightly

Step 5: Let simmer for just under 10 minutes

Step 6: Chill slightly and serve

In under 30 minutes, you can prepare this sweet and creamy corn and be the hit of any party! Guests will love it for hosting as well.
