Gobble: Menus and Meal Options
Considering Gobble’s options boast little to no cooking and cleaning time, the menu options are always extremely diverse and divided in poultry, red meat, seafood, and vegetarian options.
If you’re a poultry fan you might enjoy options like Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Lemon-Basil Orzo Salad, Chicken Florentine Rigatoni Bake with Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Chicken Enchiladas Verdes with Avocado & Pinto Beans, Thai Basil Chicken with Brown Rice, Pan-Roasted Chicken with Green Bean Casserole & Mashed Potatoes, or Chicken Piccata with Broccolini & Lemon Pepper Tagliorini.
With every option, Gobble displays exactly what kitchenware and supplies you will need for preparation, every ingredient in the dish, and every potential allergen for those with any sensitivities. Steps are not only included with each meal, but even listed on the sites menu as well.
If you enjoy red meat options that are hormone and antibiotic-free, you may like dishes like Vietnamese Shaking Beef with Toasted Garlic Noodles, Beef Bourguignon with Mashed Potatoes, Filet Mignon with Asparagus & Blue Cheese Butter, Sirloin Steak with Smashed Yukon Potatoes & Three Peppercorn Sauce, Roasted Garlic Crusted Bistro Filet with Brussels Sprouts & Root Vegetable Purée, or Tuscan Sirloin Steak with Mushrooms & Fettuccine in Three Peppercorn Sauce.
Seafood fans may enjoy selections like Pan-Roasted Salmon with Leek Patties, Sauteed Greens & Salsa Verde, Souvlaki-Marinated Salmon with Greek Orzo Salad, Sweet Chili Shrimp with Coconut Rice & Thai Coleslaw, Pan-Seared Day Boat Scallops with Curried Cauliflower Couscous, Miso-Glazed Salmon with Soba Noodles & Snow Peas and Louisiana Shrimp with White Cheddar Grits.
If you enjoy plant-based meals or a vegetarian diet, there are plenty of options to select from like Quinoa Vegetable Chili with Southwest Garlic Bread, Meyer Lemon Gnocchi with Asparagus Tips & Artichoke Hearts, Salsa Verde Spinach Enchiladas with Corn & Black Bean Rice, Potato Pierogies with Caramelized Onions & Sautéed Spinach, General Tso’s Cauliflower with Asian Stir-Fry Vegetables & Brown Rice, and Lemon Pepper Pasta with Artichokes & Sweet Peppers.
We found all of the meals were extremely tasty, easy to prepare, and extremely diverse for all types of dietary preferences and those with allergens- although dependent on your stove/cooking settings, some of the meals do take over 15 minutes to prepare (up to the 30 minute range).
Gobble: The Lunch Box
Gobble’s Lunch Box option is a fairly unique offering in comparison to a lot of meal kits and services we have tested, and great if you are seeking pre-planned meals on the go to batch cook for the week ahead.
Every week, 6 grab and go lunches are sent that can be prepared in 90 minutes in a single go that are packaged in sealed containers and perfect to bring to lunch and travel with.
You can even personalize your lunch box options based on dietary preferences, by selecting grain and protein preferences, and options change on a weekly rotating basis. So if you’re trying to stick to a vegetarian or Keto diet, or have any specific allergies, it’s not a problem for you or your family and can be easily maintained using the service free of any potential anxiety.

For travel-style on the go lunch options for 2 people and 6 meals per week, premium options (including all meat and grain groups) come to $275.28 per month with free shipping, which is an excellent savings and price per meal especially in comparison to other services and meal kits we have tested.
For classic lunch options, including meats limited to chicken, shrimp, and tofu, and grains including only brown rice and potatoes, the monthly subscription comes to $215.28. This option also includes free shipping.
It’s important to bear in mind that unlike dinner delivery options,
Gobble: Gift Options
As with many of the meal kit services we have tested thus far, you can select to give a friend or family member who may enjoy the service a gift option in the form of the card (there are no email or e-gifting options, however if you contact the company they can make exceptions if this is your preferred method), ranging from $75- $350, or a custom amount of your selection.
This does not mean they will need to sign up for any additional services or enroll in a subscription, but they can enjoy all of the same options of their choice (including dinners or lunch boxes) using their custom gift card.
Ultimately, Gobble is a great service for on-the-go meals that are easy to prepare and fresh, and the lunch kit option is perfect if you’re looking for travel-friendly meals to take with you to work or eat at home without the need for any prep.
It’s cost-effective, fresh, quite tasty, and perfect if you’re looking for a healthy balance of simplicity and great taste.
Beverly joined MFS with a diverse breadth of experience in writing and digital marketing. Throughout the years of placing recipes on MFS, I’ve noticed an uptick in the number of “subscription boxes” for the cooking/food market. It was then that I decided to also include my own personal review of these subscriptions on MFS.
